Supported by the ASEAN Youth Forum’s Mini Fund, this workshop empowered 11 participants to challenge societal norms and deepen their understanding of gender equality in an inclusive and engaging space.

HERO STORIES
2020
Launched in August 2020, ‘My Hero’ is one of Breakthrough’s flagship projects, using storytelling to champion gender equality in Cambodia. This series of nine short films celebrates everyday heroes — women, men, and youth who break stereotypes, challenge norms, and stand up for gender justice in their families and communities.
Each film reminds us that heroes are all around us — changing lives and shifting mindsets, one story at a time.
