Sinoun Poev is a founding member of the BREAKTHROUGH movement and a passionate advocate for gender equality and women’s empowerment. With a background in business management and agronomy, she has dedicated her career to challenging gender norms and advancing women’s rights.

Having worked with both local and global women’s rights organizations, Sinoun has led transformative campaigns, designed impactful training programs, and built strategic collaborations to address issues such as gender-based violence and inequality. Her passion for change is deeply rooted in her personal experience with societal pressures and the systemic injustices women face.

Sinoun’s mission is driven by the belief that everyone has the right to live authentically and make empowered decisions about their own lives. Through BREAKTHROUGH, she amplifies the voices of women and girls, using storytelling and dialogue to inspire change and create a more equal and inclusive world.
